Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Minimally Invasive Gynaecology

A wide range of minimally invasive surgeries is available for various gynaecological conditions. Using innovative laparoscopic and hysteroscopic technologies, our experienced gynaecologists can perform precise surgical procedures through tiny incisions. This advanced approach often allows us to effectively treat gynaecological conditions while preserving organ function and, in many cases, avoiding the need for organ removal. Most patients can return to their daily activities sooner with less discomfort than with traditional surgery.

Our primary focus is on providing the least invasive yet most effective approach for the majority of our procedures.

Minimally Invasive Gynaecology

Laparoscopy requires one or more small incisions in the abdomen to allow examination of the abdominal or pelvic organs and to perform surgery.

Uterus

  • Laparoscopic total hysterectomy (removal of uterus and cervix)
  • Laparoscopic subtotal hysterectomy (removal of uterine body with preservation of cervix)
  • Laparoscopic myomectomy (removal of fibroids with preservation of uterus)

Ovary

  • Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy (removal of ovarian cyst)
  • Laparoscopic oophorectomy (removal of ovary)
  • Laparoscopic salpingo-oophorectomy (removal of ovary and Fallopian tube)
  • Laparoscopic ovarian drilling

Fallopian tube

  • Laparoscopic salpingectomy
  • Laparoscopic salpingostomy
  • Laparoscopic tuboplasty

Pelvis

  • Laparoscopic adhesiolysis
  • Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis
  • Laparoscopic pelvic lymph nodes dissection
  • Laparoscopic sacro-colpopexy
Minimally Invasive Gynaecology

A hysteroscopy requires no incision. The procedure involves the use of a small endoscope, which is inserted through the vagina and cervix, to examine the uterine cavity and to perform surgery.

  • Hysteroscopic excision of fibroids
  • Hysteroscopic resection of endometrial polyps
  • Hysteroscopic endometrial ablation/resection
  • Hysteroscopic division of uterine septum
  • Hysteroscopic lysis of uterine adhesions
