Corneal Topography and Pachymetry

Corneal topography and pachymetry are used to evaluate the cornea. While corneal topography creates a highly detailed map of the cornea's surface curvature to detect irregularities and astigmatism, pachymetry precisely measures its thickness.
Corneal topography is used to detect corneal scars and keratoconus, as well as for contact lens fitting. Complementing this, pachymetry measures corneal thickness, providing crucial information for refractive surgeries like SMILE-Pro or LASIK, and the evaluation of glaucoma cases.
