Post-Fracture Rehabilitation

Hip Fracture Programme

During the early stage of rehabilitation, physiotherapy helps you to mobilise early to improve blood flow, which helps prevent serious complications, such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and pressure ulcers. Physiotherapists also recommend the assistive devices if necessary to restore functional independence in activities of daily living. We will also help you to regain joint mobility, muscle strength and endurance safely after fracture surgery. We will also make use of therapeutic exercises and electrophysical modalities to manage your pain and swelling.
